Mac Reminders Do Not Alert? Fix Notifications

- Check Focus mode. Open Control Center and check whether Do Not Disturb or another Focus is on. Focus can silence Reminders, so turn it off or allow Reminders inside it.
- Check the reminder date and time. Open the reminder and confirm it has a real date and time, not just a date with no alert time. A reminder without a time may not alert when you expect.
- Test with a new reminder. Create a test reminder for two minutes from now and wait for the alert. If the test alerts, your settings are fixed, and older reminders may need their times checked.
- Restart Reminders if alerts still fail. Quit Reminders, reopen it, and test again. If alerts still fail, restart the Mac, then retest before changing anything else.
