Track Orders in Apple Wallet
That 'where is my package' anxiety has a new home: Apple Wallet can track orders from participating merchants — live status, delivery dates, and progress, right on the order card. No tracking numbers to paste, no carrier sites to visit. Here is how it works and which stores play along.
TL;DR / Quick Fix
Quick fix: in Apple Wallet, open an order from a participating store to see live tracking — shipping status, delivery date, and progress appear on the order card. It only works with merchants that support it, mostly big retailers. For other orders, the store's own app or email still rules.
Follow these steps
- Find a participating order. Orders from supporting merchants appear in Wallet automatically after purchase — look for the order card with a store logo.
- Open the tracking card. Tap the order to see the live timeline: confirmed, shipped, out for delivery, delivered. Progress updates without refreshing.
- Enable notifications. Wallet can ping you at each stage. One notification per stage beats refreshing a tracking page forty times.
- Know the merchant limit. Only participating retailers feed Wallet — mostly large ones. Small shops and marketplaces still live in email and their own apps.
- Share tracking with family. The order card shares like anything else — send it to whoever is waiting for the package so they stop asking you.
- Archive delivered orders. Swipe to remove finished orders. A Wallet full of last year's deliveries is clutter, not history.

What NOT to do
- Do not expect every store to appear. Participation is opt-in per merchant — most of your orders will never show here.
- Do not delete the merchant's confirmation email. Wallet tracking is a convenience view; the email is the proof of purchase.
- Do not panic at a stalled status. Carriers scan in batches — 'in transit' for two days is normal, not lost.
- Do not share order cards publicly. They contain your address and purchase details — share privately, not on social media.
Frequently asked questions
Which stores support Wallet order tracking?
Large retailers that integrated with Apple's system. The list grows, but most small and marketplace sellers do not participate.
Why isn't my order showing?
The merchant does not participate, the purchase used a different email, or the order is too old. Check the store's own tracking first.
Can I track returns too?
If the merchant supports it, return status appears on the same card. Otherwise, the return lives in the store's system.
